What Is Double Coated Yarn

Double coated yarn is coated with two layers of filament or yarn on the outer layer of spandex core wire, which are generally in the opposite direction. The core filament spandex is well covered and the bare phenomenon is light. Moreover, because the outer wrapping filament is symmetrically wrapped around the core filament with the opposite spiral angle, the elastic balance of the wrapped filament is good. Generally, the subsequent process can be processed without setting treatment, but the processing cost of double coated yarn is high. It is mainly used for elastic fabrics such as leg guards, elastic belts, sock openings and panties.
