Spandex fiber overcomes the quality defects such as stress, strain performance, yarn number range and moldability of rubber yarn. DuPont was first produced by dry spinning in that year, and there are roughly four production methods:
Dry spinning
Dry spinning: a method in which the solution is solidified into silk due to solvent volatilization under hot gas flow.
Production process: solution (through) --- spinning pump (filtration)
----Drying oven (100 ℃ hot air blowing to volatilize the solution) -- spinning -- winding forming
Spinning speed: from 200 to 800m / min
Spinning temperature: 200 ~ 230 ℃
Fiber size: 22.2 ~ 1244dtex
Adopted: DuPont, Bayer, Toyo textile
Features: large process pollution, complex process and high cost.
Melt spinning
Melt-spinning: a method in which high polymers are heated above the melting point to become melts and become filaments.
Production process: polymer is polymerized without solvent - granulated - sliced at constant temperature - cleaned and cleaned - dried - dehydrated - made into solution by screw press - spinneret extrusion - cooled by cold box - wound.
Spinning speed: from 600 to 1600m / min
Spinning temperature: 160 ~ 220 ℃
Fiber size: 9 ~ 1100dtex
Used: Bell spinning, Bayer, Riqing spinning
Features: short process, low cost and low pollution
Wet spinning
Wet-spinning: a method in which the stock solution is solidified into silk by double diffusion in a coagulation bath.
Production process: stock solution -- spinning pump (filtration) -- entering warm water from spinneret (below 90 ℃) -- solidification bath of regeneration tank -- removing solvent -- silk washing -- drying -- winding forming.
Spinning speed: from 50 to 150m / min
Spinning temperature: warm water below 90 ℃
Fiber size: 44 ~ 440dtex
Adopted: Fuji textile of Japan
Characteristics: this method has the advantages of large pollution, slow spinning speed and high cost.
Chemical reaction method
The solution made of high polymer is cured into silk by chemical reaction with chain extender.
Production process: Solution -- from spinneret to solidification solution -- adding chain extender (chemical reaction) -- winding forming -- hardening -- treating into mesh fiber.
Spinning speed: from 50 to 150m / min
Fiber size: 44 ~ 80dtex
Adopted by: Universal
Characteristics: the production process of this method has large pollution and high cost.
