The differences between spandex coated yarn and spandex core spun yarn are as follows:
(1) The core filament and outer fiber of spandex core spun yarn come from two components to fully reflect the respective characteristics of core filament and outer fiber. The core filament is not exposed, and the outer fiber can only be short fiber strip;
The coated yarn does not require the core wire to be completely covered. Its outer fiber can be filament or single yarn, and it is wrapped on special equipment (hollow spindle spinning machine) in order to obtain fancy yarn
(2) Spandex core spun yarn: it is spandex wrapped with short fibers, with spandex filament as the core and wrapped with non elastic short fibers. Generally, the core filament will not be exposed during stretching.
Spandex coated yarn: it is an elastic yarn formed by wrapping spandex with chemical fiber filaments and wrapping the elongated spandex filaments in a spiral way with spandex filaments as the core and non elastic short fibers or filaments. The core is exposed under tension.
